If you operate as a company certain minimum registrations have to be done.  These include (but are not limited to) :

• registration with SARS for income tax;
• registration with SARS for PAYE;
• registration with SARS for VAT;
• registration with the Commissioner for Income Dispensation (COID); and
• registration with the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF).

Certain industries have additional requirements for which you must register.
